Alain Laprise

From an early age, he has been immersed in the universe of creation. He started with pencils, coloring books and pieces of cardboard, then brushes were added. At 10, he took oil painting lessons and the rest was a wildfire of exploration and discovery in the world of the arts. After studying arts and a bachelor’s degree in visual arts education, he began a personal creative process. Shy at first, he paints and draws in his studio, then, over time, the excellent comments he receives made him want to go further and do something with this talent. As he puts it so well, “I’m not trying to reinvent art, I just want to have fun with it!” Instinctively, he illustrates what comes to mind. The result is images where color, lines and shapes give life to his inspiration.
