Frequently Asked Questions
Can a store order your products for resale?
Yes, a reseller can use the site to make his selection but must note it on an order form and send it to us by email, fax, mail or dictation over the phone. The nature of the order thus transmitted will determine eligibility for the wholesale price.
Are the images available in sizes other than those shown?
Yes. However, it is necessary to limit oneself to the formats indicated on the site or in the catalogs to be able to carry out the purchase directly on the site. Special orders can be submitted by email and we will then assess the feasibility of these.
Is your store open normal hours?
No, being a store located in a tourist area, we are highly dependent on traffic and the temperature. Access is not guaranteed at all times and opening hours may vary depending on the time of year. Always call before passing to ensure accessibility, especially in winter.
Can I take delivery of my order at your store?
Of course, just indicate it in your shopping cart. However, you must wait for our confirmation that the order is ready before placing your order.
Can we go to your store to choose our picture?
To choose an image, it may be unnecessary to come to our store because we do not have a demonstrator of all the images in the catalog. The best tool remains the website. However, we will be happy to receive you and help you make your choice.
How long does it take to prepare a canvas order (giclee or transfer)?
A minimum period of two (2) weeks is required to produce a giclee and three (3) weeks for a transfer on canvas.
Where can I stretch a canvas (giclee or transfer) on a false frame?
Any business offering a custom framing service can stretch a canvas on a false frame and even suggest additional framing.
Why do we recommend sending canvas alone, shipped in a tube?
Because sending stretched canvases on a false frame costs more in delivery costs. In addition, the post office limits the maximum format of delivery boxes, which often leads to surcharges (already calculated by the site when paying in the basket).
What is the difference between a giclée and a transfer on canvas?
Both products are substantially similar. Note a slight difference between the finish of the fixative of the giclee and that of the plastic wrap of the transfer on canvas.
What is a transfer on canvas?
A transfer on canvas is made from a paper reproduction whose image has been transferred to a canvas and laminated with plastic wrap.
What is a Giclee?
A giclée is a digital reproduction printed on demand directly onto a canvas. A fixative is applied to protect the colors.
