Christine Morency

Born on the Orlean Island near Quebec in 1966, Christine Morency spent her childhood surrounded by nature. The attraction for comic strips and illustrations occurs early in her life. During these years of career, she freely explores different mediums and studied with private teachers. In 2005, she completely abandons the graphics to devote herself exclusively to her work as a painter. Member of the “regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec” (RAAV), the “Académie Internationale des Beaux-Arts du Québec” (AIBAQ) and the “Association des artistes de la Rive-Sud” (AARS), Christine Morency has several group expositions and solos to her credit, both in Canada and overseas. Between 2009 and 2011, she acts as a guest artist and honorary president at auctions and artistic events.
